CBD (abbreviation for cannabidiol) is one of at least 113 naturally occurring chemical compounds known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is a very valuable ingredient with many positive properties and effects. CBD has no psychodelic effects and also does not cause addiction. You can read more about the positive effects of CBD oil on our blog.

CBD products, which include all naturally occurring cannabinoids (CBD, CBN, CBG, THC and others), terpenes, flavonoids and other compounds are considered to be the full spectrum. CBD products that have undergone treatment to remove only THC but still contain other cannabinoids and terpenes are considered broad-spectrum. CBD products that have undergone treatment to remove all cannabinoids and terpenes, with the exception of CBD, are considered as isolates.

Terpenes are naturally occurring essential oils found in all plants, including hemp. They are present in the whole spectrum and in the widest spectrum of oil CBD products. Terpenes contribute to the aroma, taste and overall effects of a particular product. The terpene profile from the laboratory report of a specific product will tell you which terpenes are represented in a specific product and at what levels.

Like CBD, CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. CBG is often referred to as the “parent cannabinoid” from which all other cannabinoids are made, including THC and CBD. Like other cannabinoids, CBG has a positive effect on the body and its functions through its action on the endocannabinoid system. The biggest stumbling block for CBG is the cost of its production. CBG is considered to be one of the most expensive cannabinoids produced. So much so that it’s called “Rolls-Royce Cannabinoids.”

Marijuana and hemp are two different varieties of hemp that come from the same species of plant (Cannabis sativa L). Generally, CBD is found in both. “Marijuana” plants contain high amounts of THC. In contrast, technical hemp contains virtually zero traces of THC, but a high CBD content. The cultivation of technical hemp is legal in Slovakia.

We produce our products in alcohol extraction. We consider it more effective & nbsp; in & nbsp; compared to & nbsp; some other methods because it uses the full potential of the plant. This means that it extracts the largest number of substances, including amino acids and flavonoids. Alcohol is & nbsp; also capable of dissolving all types of cannabinoids.
